Lona

Quick Start

Your AI second brain on Telegram — capture anything, stay on track.

01 — Capturing

Just send a message

Text or voice — Lona identifies what it is, links it to your projects and goals, and logs it in Notion.

Fix a wrong atom type or reassign it to a different project/goal/habit.

  • Replies work best immediately after a capture
  • For older items, manage directly in Notion
  • /retype also accepts types: todo · event · idea · reflection · people
  • /cal skips captures with no due date — set one first by replying with the date
03 — Daily Commands

Your everyday toolkit

/digest
Morning briefing — overdue, today's schedule, top priorities.
→ "2 overdue · 3 due today · Focus: investor deck"
/todo
Interactive task list grouped by Today, Overdue, and Upcoming. Tap any item to cycle its status — once to mark in-progress, again to mark done, again to reopen.
☐ open → ⏳ in-progress → ✅ done → ☐ open · Use ‹ › to page through
/journal
Browse or search your reflections.
→ /journal week · /journal about focus
/milestone <name>
View or update project and goal progress.
→ /milestone Product · /milestone done Beta launch
/cal
Push a capture to Google Calendar. Reply to a specific capture, or send standalone to sync the last one. Requires a due date on the capture.
→ Reply /cal to any event or to-do with a date
04 — Date Shortcuts

Speak naturally

Combine a day word with a time word. Lona resolves the exact date and sets it on the atom.

tomorrow in 3 days next week next Monday morning 9 AM afternoon 2 PM evening 8 PM COB / EOD 5 PM
Send the report tomorrow COB
Lona✅ To-do — due tomorrow 5:00 PM.
Dentist next Thursday morning
Lona✅ Event — Thursday 29 May, 9:00 AM.
05 — Projects, Goals & Habits

Keep containers short and distinct

Pausing, resuming & deleting

Every container type — project, goal, or habit — takes the same three commands.

/pause habit Reading
Lona🔄 Habit paused: "Reading"
/resume habit Reading
Lona🔄 Habit resumed: "Reading"
/delete project Website revamp
Lona🗑️ Project deleted: "Website revamp"
  • Use 1–2 word names: "Product" not "Product Development Project"
  • Avoid similar names — "Sales" and "BD" side by side will confuse Lona
  • Create containers in Notion — they appear in Lona automatically
  • Set a container to Inactive in Notion to hide it from digests
  • If a capture lands in the wrong container, reply /move <container name>
  • /pause <project|goal|habit> <name> stops it appearing in digests without deleting it — /resume brings it back
